Miguel Cané, Director General de la Posada del Qenti, dio una conferencia sobre Turismo Médico en la Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina.
(Buenos Aires, October 2014). This month, the Posada del Qenti participated in FIT, the International Tourism Fair of Latin America that takes place every year in Buenos Aires, in the Rural area of Palermo, with more than 1600 exhibitors and about fifty countries.
The FIT allows you to enjoy innovative tourism proposals from our country and the world, including Medical Tourism, a segment that various countries are developing, such as Argentina.
Thus, La Posada del Qenti, within the stand of the province of Córdoba, offered visitors, professionals and tourism agencies its proposals for health programs for the end of the year and for the summer season. To these were added its prestigious Weight Management, Anti-Stress, Anti-Smoking, Diabetic Management and Biological Rejuvenation programs.
The exhibition was visited by the Minister of Tourism, Enrique Meyer; by the President of cat, Oscar Ghezzi; by authorities of the Business Chambers of Tourism of the Province; and by the President of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Gustavo Santos.
Dentro de este marco, Miguel Cané, miembro del Consejo Directivo de la CAT, Presidente de CIAPSA (la Cámara Argentina de Turismo Médico), y Director General de la Posada del QENTI, dio una conferencia de Turismo Médico. Además de explicar su definición, las características del mercado, el potencial médico y las ventajas competitivas de la Argentina; se habló también de la oferta de las instituciones de estética facial, corporal y odontológica, como también de Prevención y bienestar (con una importante y ascendente demanda en el mercado).
Por último, se destacó la importancia del trabajo en equipo, público y privado, entre CIAPSA, el Inprotur, y otros Organismos Municipales, Provinciales y Nacionales, que permite realizar en conjunto estrategias específicas para atraer pacientes del exterior, considerando la importante, variada y competitiva oferta que nuestro país dispone.
En agosto del 2015 se realizará el Primer Congreso de Turismo Médico Internacional en Buenos Aires.
