Regarding the nutritional contribution, the food that we plan, organize and offer in La Posada del Qenti is based on the Mediterranean orientation. It highlights features such as:

  • Aporte equilibrado de hidratos de carbono complejos y fibras, obtenidos a partir de verduras, frutas, granos enteros y legumbres.
  • Moderate intake of protein, which comes from various types of lean, white and red meats,  eggs and skimmed dairy products.
  • Aporte  reducido de grasas saludables con la incorporación de aceites de una sola semilla, palta y frutos secos.
  • Vitamins and minerals from fruits, vegetables, grains and seeds.

Thus, we are in favor of a complete diet, which includes all the nutrients, in a balanced and varied way, totally personalized when considering the  particularities and requirements of each guest. This planning also provides biologically active components that provide health benefits and reduce the risk of contracting certain diseases due to their contribution of antioxidants, phytosterols and polyphenols. We do not promote the carrying out of "miracle diets", restrictions and/or prohibitions of any kind.

Our vision is based on the consumption of real, natural and fresh foods, part of them grown in Posada. We take advantage of the cultivation of seasonal fruits and vegetables to prepare simple, rich dishes, without preservatives or additives.

We emphasize the care of the intestinal microbiota, which has already been proven to affect the immune system, skin health, digestion-absorption and even mood.

In addition, we provide talks and educational workshops on current affairs. In them, we prioritize and promote home cooking to encourage guests to create their own dishes and adapt their diet to their tastes, context and possibilities, understanding that it is the best way to improve habits and quality of life.

We seek that eating is done from pleasure and not from guilt,  savoring each bite and enjoying the experience of each dish. We encourage active listening to the body, recognition of hunger and satiety signals, and mindful eating, which helps give the body the energy it needs.
