Por qu\u00e9 hay que seguir prefiriendo las cuatro comidas diarias tradicionales.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8547 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qenti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/brunch.jpg\" alt=\"brunch\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qenti.com\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/brunch.jpg 600w, https:\/\/qenti.com\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/brunch-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qenti.com\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/brunch-480x270.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>El brunch<\/strong>, un neologismo surgido de la uni\u00f3n de breakfast (desayuno) y lunch (almuerzo), consiste en una comida realizada por la ma\u00f1ana entre el desayuno y el almuerzo.<\/p>\n<p>Ya algunos restaurantes y hoteles sirven un brunch, en especial los domingos y d\u00edas festivos desde las 10 de la ma\u00f1ana hasta las 4 de la tarde. Se los utiliza, por ejemplo, \u00abpara reuniones\u00bb, \u00abpara prolongar exposiciones\u00bb y \u00abpara domingos y feriados\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfSus principales inconvenientes?<\/strong> No contabilizamos la cantidad que ingerimos, ya que estamos concentrados en alguna charla y hablamos mientras comemos sin ver ni masticar bien los alimentos.<\/p>\n<p>Aparte de significar un problema enorme para nuestra salud, como el aumento del colesterol y las grasas en sangre, eleva la glucemia o az\u00facar en sangre. Esto a su vez influye en una exagerada liberaci\u00f3n del flujo de insulina por parte del p\u00e1ncreas, y que las gl\u00e1ndulas funcionen de una manera no propia ante el abundante ingreso de calor\u00edas en un horario en que no deber\u00eda haberlo.<\/p>\n<p>A nuestro cerebro, que con el desayuno se llena de f\u00f3sforo y funciona a pleno, en este horario la entrada exagerada de hidrogenados y grasas lo obligar\u00eda a ceder su flujo sangu\u00edneo a otros \u00f3rganos intermediarios en la digesti\u00f3n y no, por ejemplo, a nuestros m\u00fasculos, sumiendo a nuestro cuerpo en una sola cosa: dormir. \u00a1La siesta! \u00bfPero a qu\u00e9 hora? Estar\u00edamos alterando todo nuestro ciclo circadiano y los relojes biol\u00f3gicos cerebrales y del resto del cuerpo, lo que desorganizar\u00eda todo nuestro metabolismo.<\/p>\n<p>No s\u00f3lo es cuestionable el horario, sino tambi\u00e9n los alimentos elegidos; por ejemplo: huevos escalfados, pan tostado o frito con base de bacon frito, acompa\u00f1ado de salchichas y para beber \u00a1un Bloody Mary! Adem\u00e1s, ya muchas personas lo toman como un \u201ctentempi\u00e9\u201d a media ma\u00f1ana\u2026 \u00a1despu\u00e9s del desayuno!<\/p>\n<p>Este es otro intento de la industria alimenticia del fast food&#8230; con sus hidrogenados, para que sigamos siendo adictos, poniendo de moda algo que creemos novedoso y sin embargo no deja de ser lo mismo cambiado de horario y sin importarles nuestra salud en absoluto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y ahora, el brinner&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s del brunch, los cronuts, los cupcakes y todas las modas, algunas impronunciables, que alternativamente entraron y salieron de la mesa como falsas panaceas, atenci\u00f3n, \u00a1llega el brinner! A mitad de camino entre la cena (dinner) y el desayuno (breakfast), la \u00faltima tendencia \u00abgastro\u00bb consiste en cenar el desayuno: <strong>\u00abbreakfast for dinner\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Desde pancakes, tortitas, gofres, huevos revueltos, huevos rancheros, cereales, tocino, frutas, pan franc\u00e9s, \u00a1quinoa! (of course), bacon, tostadas, tostadas francesas, muffins, burritos, pizza, frittata&#8230; las combinaciones son infinitas y van de lo m\u00e1s b\u00e1sico a lo m\u00e1s sofisticado. As\u00ed podr\u00e1s cenar un delicioso (y cal\u00f3rico) \u00abbrunch\u00bb&#8230; hasta las 22:00 horas&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Tenemos que pensar que los motivos que impulsan a poner de moda el ingerir el desayuno a la hora de la cena son de cualquier tipo, excepto la salud. Porque alimentos como el bacon y boller\u00eda azucarada no son la mejor opci\u00f3n ni a la ma\u00f1ana ni a la noche&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Y si el desayuno es, como nos hemos cansado de repetir la comida mas importante del d\u00eda, no parece que el consumir toda esa energ\u00eda para ir a dormir sea la mejor\u00a0 de las opciones. El consejo sigue siendo consumir comidas equilibradas y porciones ajustadas.
