Tendinitis, dolor en cuello y espalda, s\u00edndrome del t\u00fanel carpiano, ojo seco, dificultad para respirar, dolores de cabeza, insomnio, estr\u00e9s, v\u00e9rtigo, fatiga y mala digesti\u00f3n son solo algunas de las secuelas relacionadas al abuso de pantallas en general.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tener un\u00a0<\/span><b>televisor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0en la habitaci\u00f3n, pueden aumentar el riesgo de la obesidad. Las personas que ven m\u00e1s de 5 horas al d\u00eda de\u00a0<\/span><b>televisi\u00f3n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0tienen 5 veces m\u00e1s probabilidad de tener sobrepeso, comparados con quienes ven de 0 a 2 horas al d\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En muchos casos el TV es una invitaci\u00f3n al \u201cquedarse quieto\u201d, al sedentarismo. Se sabe que <\/span><b>la falta de actividad f\u00edsica est\u00e1 asociada a m\u00faltiples enfermedades y a un mayor riesgo de muerte prematura<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En un estudio que realiz\u00f3 la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid se observ\u00f3 que el tiempo dedicado a ver la tele se asocia con un\u00a0<\/span><b>mayor riesgo de limitaciones funcionales<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(funcionamiento f\u00edsico general, problemas de movilidad, problemas de agilidad y fragilidad) en personas mayores. Sin embargo, no observaron que\u00a0<\/span><b>otros comportamientos sedentarios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, como\u00a0<\/span><b>utilizar el ordenador o leer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, est\u00e9n relacionados con limitaciones funcionales<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ver la TV constituye un factor de riesgo independiente y es una de las actividades sedentarias que m\u00e1s se han estudiado.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s, suele ir de la mano de otros comportamientos potencialmente nocivos, como el consumo de grandes cantidades de alimentos hipercal\u00f3ricos y poco saludables.
