Si, como todos los alimentos de origen animal, pero el efecto que el colesterol diet\u00e9tico (el ingerido a trav\u00e9s de los alimentos) ejerce sobre los niveles de colesterol plasm\u00e1tico (el presente en la sangre) en personas sanas es m\u00ednimo y depende en gran medida de factores individuales como la gen\u00e9tica, el peso corporal o los h\u00e1bitos de vida (actividad f\u00edsica y tabaquismo).<\/p>\n<p>En su composici\u00f3n, el huevo contiene \u00e1cidos grasos saturados (AGS) en un 35%, y en un 65% insaturados (monoinsaturados y poliinsaturados). Es decir, es uno de los alimentos de origen animal con mejor composici\u00f3n grasa.<\/p>\n<p>Es rico en prote\u00ednas de alto valor biol\u00f3gico y no contiene hidratos de carbono.<\/p>\n<p>El consumo de huevos tambi\u00e9n puede contribuir a la prevenci\u00f3n de la enfermedad cardiovascular, tanto por su aporte nutricional como por sustituir a alimentos con mayor contenido en grasas saturadas y calor\u00edas (cortes de carne con mucho contenido de grasa, carnes procesadas), que tienen un impacto negativo en la salud.<\/p>\n<p>Es un alimento indispensable para que las dietas (ovo-lacto) vegetarianas sean completas, por su elevado aporte de vitaminas B12 y D, y otros nutrientes (folato, hierro, zinc) que suelen estar menos presentes o biodisponibles en los alimentos de origen vegetal.<\/p>\n<p>Se puede consumir hasta 1 huevo por d\u00eda de diversas maneras como souffl\u00e9, tortillas, poche, en ensaladas, en rellenos y muchas formas mas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Lic.
