Ejercitarse 150 minutos por semana\u00a0permite alcanzar beneficios sorprendentes para la salud.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La\u00a0inactividad f\u00edsica\u00a0es un problema de salud p\u00fablica de r\u00e1pido crecimiento y contribuye a una variedad de enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas y complicaciones en la salud, incluyendo la obesidad, la diabetes y el c\u00e1ncer. En los Estados Unidos y muchos otros pa\u00edses, los niveles de inactividad son alarmantes y lo califican como una epidemia.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-207087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qenti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/hidratacion.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qenti.com\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/hidratacion.jpg 768w, https:\/\/qenti.com\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/hidratacion-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qenti.com\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/hidratacion-480x271.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo\u00a0a la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), despu\u00e9s de la presi\u00f3n arterial alta, el consumo de tabaco y la glucosa sangu\u00ednea alta,\u00a0la inactividad f\u00edsica constituye la cuarta causa principal de muerte en el mundo, con unos 3,3 millones de muertes al a\u00f1o. En tanto, m\u00e1s de la mitad de los adultos (56 por ciento) no cumplen con las recomendaciones con respecto a\u00a0la actividad f\u00edsica suficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Estudios difundidos por \u201cExcercise is medicine\u201d (El ejercicio es medicina)\u00a0han demostrado los beneficios de la regularidad de la actividad f\u00edsica. En este sentido, los mismos muestran que 150 minutos por semana de actividad f\u00edsica moderada permite alcanzar los siguientes beneficios para la salud:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Las investigaciones muestran que\u00a0un bajo nivel de actividad f\u00edsica expone a un paciente a un mayor riesgo de morir que por tabaquismo, obesidad, hipertensi\u00f3n o colesterol alto\u00a0, y para los hombres de m\u00e1s edad, la actividad f\u00edsica regular\u00a0puede reducir el riesgo de muerte en un 40 por ciento.<\/li>\n<li>Las personas activas de 80 a\u00f1os\u00a0tienen un riesgo menor de muerte que los individuos inactivos de 60 a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n<li>Reducir la mortalidad y el riesgo de c\u00e1ncer de mama\u00a0recurrente por aproximadamente un 50 por ciento,\u00a0disminuir el riesgo de c\u00e1ncer de colon\u00a0en m\u00e1s del 60 por ciento y reducir el riesgo de desarrollar la enfermedad de\u00a0Alzheimer\u00a0aproximadamente en un 40 por ciento.<\/li>\n<li>Reducir la\u00a0incidencia de la enfermedad card\u00edaca y la presi\u00f3n arterial\u00a0en aproximadamente un 40 por ciento.<\/li>\n<li>Disminuir el riesgo de\u00a0accidente cerebrovascular\u00a0en un 27 por ciento.<\/li>\n<li>Disminuir el riesgo de desarrollar\u00a0diabetes tipo II\u00a0en un 58 por ciento.<\/li>\n<li>Los adultos con una mayor fuerza muscular tienen menos riesgo de mortalidad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En relaci\u00f3n a la actividad f\u00edsica, otro factor importante es\u00a0el clima caluroso y h\u00famedo, que representa un reto para la capacidad del cuerpo a la hora de cada rutina y de\u00a0hidratarse. Durante los ejercicios, los m\u00fasculos generan gran cantidad de calor que debe disiparse hacia el ambiente.
