Si no se trata, exponemos nuestro organismo a consecuencias tales c\u00f3mo trastornos de ansiedad, insomnio, dolor muscular, alta presi\u00f3n y debilitamiento del sistema inmunitario, entre otros. Las personas que padecen algunas de \u00e9stas patolog\u00edas tienen un riesgo dos veces mayor de tener enfermedades card\u00edacas que las personas que no tienen estas afecciones. Las investigaciones han demostrado que hay una relaci\u00f3n entre el estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico y el abuso de sustancias adictivas. Tambi\u00e9n afecta las relaciones interpersonales, \u00e1mbitos familiares, laborales y sociales ya que las personas con estr\u00e9s presentan mayor irritabilidad, dificultad para la concentraci\u00f3n y resoluci\u00f3n de problemas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claves para un buen manejo del estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico se puede tratar con intervenciones adecuadas tales como cambios en el estilo de vida y la conducta, psicoterapia y, en algunos casos, valoraci\u00f3n psiqui\u00e1trica.<\/p>\n<p>Cambios en el estilo de vida, tomar decisiones sensatas y mejorar la conducta de los h\u00e1bitos, es necesario para optimizar la salud en general y prevenir el estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico. Tener un orden en cuanto a los horarios de alimentaci\u00f3n, horas de sue\u00f1o y descanso, un equilibrio entre el tiempo de trabajo y tiempo de esparcimiento tambi\u00e9n ayuda notablemente.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00a0actividad f\u00edsica es un cambio peque\u00f1o pero eficaz en el manejo del estr\u00e9s y aumenta la producci\u00f3n de endorfinas, que es una sustancia que provoca una sensaci\u00f3n de bienestar.<\/p>\n<p>Llevar una alimentaci\u00f3n \u00a0saludable y respetar las horas necesarias de sue\u00f1o, tambi\u00e9n pueden ser beneficiosos.<\/p>\n<p>Incluir a la rutina t\u00e9cnicas de relajaci\u00f3n y de respiraci\u00f3n, pr\u00e1cticas \u00a0tales como el yoga o mindfulness, ayudan a bajar los niveles de estr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Realizar\u00a0 actividades que \u00a0generen placer y disfrute. Realizar actividades que lo conecten con el momento presente. Aprender a decir que NO tambi\u00e9n es importante, ya que puede suceder que el estr\u00e9s aumente por realizar demasiadas tareas y es necesario aprender a establecer l\u00edmites.<\/p>\n<p>Psicoterapia: Un profesional Psic\u00f3logo\u00a0 puede ayudar a superar las barreras que \u00a0impiden llevar una vida saludable, manejar el estr\u00e9s de forma eficaz e identificar aquellas conductas y situaciones que aumentan los niveles de estr\u00e9s de forma constante.<\/p>\n<p>Valoraci\u00f3n psiqui\u00e1trica: la consulta con un psiquiatra que determine si es necesaria la indicaci\u00f3n de alg\u00fan psicof\u00e1rmaco.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe aclarar que cada caso es particular y \u00fanico por lo cual el tratamiento para cada caso tambi\u00e9n lo ser\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Lic.
